Returning to the old haunt

Hello world, sorry about the long absence, but I've been dealing with some ... issues. I've been forced back to my bed as it's the only place I can find comfort from some crippling nerve pain.

Lucky for me, I'm never alone, as you can see below, I'm making the best of the situation.

While I'm here I thought I'd show you my board - a simple cork board where I stick up inspiration for whatever I might be writing. I'm quite a visual person, so I like having pictures, quotes, information, and the like to keep the creative juices flowing.

As you can see, this was my pirate inspiration for when I was writing Princess of Sea & Gold. I have a couple of art pieces, one being "The Capture of the Pirate Blackbeard" by Jean-Leon Gerome Ferris, one of my personal favorites. There's also the cover of my book, some tips about writing characters, an autograph from one of my favorite bands and of course my cat, Frankie.

I'd love to hear how and where you find inspiration.
